Brigadier General (Rtd) Ahmed Mohamed
Senior Advisor
Brigadier General (Retd) Ahmed Mohamed enlisted in MaldivesNational Defence Force (MNDF) on 13th March 1984 as a LanceCorporal and was commissioned eight years later on 21st April1992. He was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on 08February 2009.Brigadier General (Retd) Ahmed Mohamed is a graduate of Command and Staff College,Quetta, Pakistan. The Brigadier General is a fellow of Asia Pacific Center for SecurityStudies (APCSS), Hawaii and Near-East and South Asia Center for strategic Studies,Washington DC. He has also completed the Governance and Management of DefenceCourse conducted by The Royal Military College of Science, Cranfield University.
Brigadier General was appointed as the Vice Chief of Defence Force on 21st February2012 and retired from MNDF on 23rd February 2015. He previously served asCommander of MNDF Northern Area and the Executive Officer of the Headquarters ofMNDF.
The Brigadier General held various command and staff appointments includingCommanding Officer of MNDF Engineering Service, Commanding Officer of Supply Unit,Executive Officer of Ministry of Defence and National Security and Commanding Officerof both Regional Headquarters S.Gan, and L.Kadhdhoo, Commanding Officer of QuickReaction Force II, Commanding Officer of Planning, Research and Development Wing,the Managing Director of Sifainge Ekuveringe Kunfuni and the President of MNDF Sportsand Recreation Club.
The Brigadier General has been honored with 15 awards and decorations including thePresidential Medal, Distinguished Service Medal, Dedicated Service Medal, DefenceForce Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and 3rd November Medal.
LT. COL (RTD)IBRAHIM LATHEEF
Chief Security Advisor
Ibrahim Latheef served as Lieutenant Colonel atMaldives Defense Force (MNDF 1984- 2004) andlater as Senior Deputy Commissioner of Police atMaldives Police Service (MPS 2004 2007).
Now he works for Western Australia Police as the Strategic Advisor.
During his distinguished career, Latheef has fulfilled many seniorroles and has been involved in various projects of strategicimportance, including spearheading the development of the newlyestablished Maldives Police Service as the Chairman to manage thechanges, Commanding Officer of Security Division (MNDF), andHead of Criminal Investigation Department (MPS). Latheef is ahighly trained officer with an excellent academic, military, andpolicing background.
WARRANT OFFICER(RTD) AHMED SHAHEE
Technical Consultant
Ahmed Shahee is a highly experienced professional inthe field of Information Communication andTechnology, with a career spanning over 16 years inboth the Government and Private sectors. Withexpertise in the Security field, Shahee is a Master ofScience Graduate from the University ofWolverhampton, UK, with a specialization in StrategicInformation Technology Management. He began hisICT career in 2003 with the Maldives NationalDefense Force and worked in the Signals Corps,previously known as Communications Electronicsand Information Technology Services (CEITS) ofMNDF. Initially, he started as a computer hardwaretechnician and gradually gained exposure to theNetworking field as well. Over the years, he hashoned his skills in Computer Networks, as well asCCTV & CATV Network Design & Maintenance, andSecurity Consultancy for Computer, CCTV, and CATVNetworks.
Ahmed Shaam

He joined the National Service in 2010 and later transferred toMPS as an Operational Intelligence Officer in 2015. For thenext few years, he had the honor of serving as an Instructoruntil 2020. During my time as an instructor, he had theopportunity to conduct multiple basic and advanced-levelOperational Officer Courses at the National Bureau ofIntelligence. He also had the privilege of assisting indeveloping combat curriculum in operational units of MNDF.As an internationally certified combat instructor and nationaland internationally certified physical fitness instructor, hetakes pride in my work and strives to always provide the besttraining possible.
Ahmed Sunan
Group Manager, Logistic and Commercial
Ahmed Sunan is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in law enforcement and hospitality security. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and leadership skills, earning recognition and accolades.
Ahmed's journey began in November 2004 when he joined the Maldives Police Service. During his training, he showcased remarkable capabilities, which led to his selection for the prestigious Special Operations Department. Throughout his tenure, Ahmed consistently stood out as one of the most decorated members of the team, earning the title of "Best Officer of the Month" multiple times.
In August 2012, Ahmed transitioned to the hospitality industry, starting as a Security Officer at Holiday Inn Kandoomaa. He quickly made a mark within the industry, showcasing his exceptional skills and leadership abilities. Within three years, he progressed to the role of Security Manager, further solidifying his reputation.
Ahmed's expertise in the hospitality sector expanded as he served as Security Manager (In charge) at renowned resorts such as Centara Rasfushi, Outrigger Konotta Maldives, Six Senses Laamu, Kudafushi Maldives, and Kuramathi Maldives. These experiences provided him with invaluable knowledge and expertise in security and fire safety within the hospitality sector.
With a proven track record of excellence and a comprehensive understanding of security practices, Ahmed Sunan is well-equipped to tackle complex security challenges and ensure the safety of individuals and properties. Viraj Hanumant Khopade
Fire Engineer
Viraj has an impressive background in fire safety engineering. He has aFire Engineering degree and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, as wellas training in Occupational Safety and Health from prestigiousinstitutions such as IOSH and NEBOSH. He has completed EmergencyFirst Aid Level 2 from HABC, UK, and is an associated member of theInstitute of Fire Engineers, UK. Viraj has worked with several globalcompanies as a Fire Safety Engineer before joining Gage Fire Safety Pvt.Ltd. in the Maldives, where he has served as the Chief Fire Engineer andAssistant Director of Engineering and Fire. He has been involved inconsulting, designing and commissioning fire safety systems, managingprojects, and training his subordinates. With eight years of experience inthe field, Viraj is an accomplished professional in fire safety engineering.
Harshraj Singh CSI CCSI PSS
Chief Security Safety Officer
Harsh Raj is an extremely talented security and safetyprofessional who has gained expertise in a diverse range ofareas such as cyber security, assets protection, and workplacesafety. He began his career with the Indian Airwing Squadron,where he underwent extensive training in special operations,flying, and investigative techniques, leading to his promotion asa Cadet Sergeant within the unit. Harsh Raj has also servedunofficially with Indian Intelligence, where he activelyparticipated in investigations and evidence collection.
Hash Raj holds numerous international certifications from theUS Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense,Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency, andOccupational Safety & Health Academy (OSHA).
